Change is said to be the only constant in life. The famous Tupac Shakur song 'changes' rings so true then and now " that's just the way it is, things will never be the same". Holding on to old habits, ways of thinking and stereotypes stops change happening for you, you stop learning new ways to survive in this life, the world will change without you by it's side. Our experiences we go through both positive and negative are a catalyst moving us forward towards something we can't even comprehend in the present but giving ourselves the chance to move with it we will come to know and understand. There are so many things that we know now which we never thought were even possible 10, 20 years ago. It's our experiences in life that initiates the changes within which allows us to learn new ways of coping, thinking and living. When you allow yourself to observe what you are experiencing instead of pushing it away or not acknowledging it, you are really diving into it with a curiosity that makes you question yourself and what is happening so that you find the true lesson in the experience. This process helps us learn more about ourselves and is nature's tool for personal growth and awareness. When we look back at the tough times we have gotten through in our past we see how necessary that was in order for us to become who we are now. It's an uncomfortable and frighting feeling when you don't know where something is going to lead to. It forces us to trust in something beyond our control, which may well be the lesson in it all, to get in touch with a deeper sense of knowing within which we can't see.
